I also wish to thank the media and our active supporters. Together with more than 700,000 volunteers in China’s TB programs, we have helped promote awareness, provide valuable knowledge and improve understanding of TB to more than 75% of the population. Lives have been saved as a result.

我還要感謝媒體和所有積極支持者。我們與中國(guó)結(jié)核病項(xiàng)目中的70多萬(wàn)名結(jié)核病志愿者一起共同努力,，幫助提高了75%以上人口對(duì)結(jié)核病的認(rèn)識(shí),，為他們提供了寶貴的知識(shí)，提高了他們對(duì)結(jié)核病的了解,。其結(jié)果是拯救了生命,。

I myself stand witness to the rapid progress of TB programs in China. Thanks to better medical service, we can offer more timely and effective diagnosis and treatment. In some areas, fighting TB is now an important part of the poverty reduction programs. Case detection rate increases, more patients are cured, and the incidence and mortality continue to drop.

我本人見(jiàn)證了中國(guó)結(jié)核病項(xiàng)目的快速發(fā)展。由于更好的醫(yī)療服務(wù),，我們可以提供更及時(shí)有效的診斷和治療,。在一些地區(qū)，防治結(jié)核病現(xiàn)在是減貧計(jì)劃的重要組成部分,。病例檢出率增加,，更多患者得到治愈，發(fā)病率和死亡率繼續(xù)下降,。

When I visit foreign countries, I also try to make the local TB situation part of my agenda. I am so happy to see that more patients are getting the help they need. It is the united effort of governments, international organizations, NGOs, experts and volunteers that has made this possible.

當(dāng)我在國(guó)外進(jìn)行訪問(wèn)時(shí)，我也試圖將當(dāng)?shù)亟Y(jié)核病的情況列入我的議程,。我很高興看到更多的病人得到了他們需要的幫助,。正是各國(guó)政府、國(guó)際組織,、非政府組織,、專(zhuān)家和志愿者的共同努力使改變成為可能,。

However, daunting challenges remain. MDR is still a major threat. Limited ways of treatment and insufficient funding are still the problems we face globally.

然而，艱巨的挑戰(zhàn)依然存在,，多重耐藥性結(jié)核仍然是一大威脅,。治療方法有限和資金不足仍然是全球面臨的問(wèn)題。

The WHO has adopted the “End TB Strategy”. Now is the time to act.

世衛(wèi)組織采取了“遏制結(jié)核病戰(zhàn)略”?，F(xiàn)在是采取行動(dòng)的時(shí)候了,。
